COMMUNITY KITCHEN
Kayla serving Xmas lunch.jpg

Every week, our Community Kitchen brings people together over a shared meal, creating opportunities for connection, friendship and support. Thanks to the dedication of our amazing volunteers, we provide more than 1,800 nutritious meals each year to community members from all walks of life.

As the cost of living continues to rise and the housing crisis places increasing pressure on individuals and families, more people are turning to neighbourhood centres for assistance, connection and a sense of belonging. For many, the Community Kitchen is more than just a meal. It's a welcoming place where people can feel part of their community, reduce social isolation and access support when they need it most.

While the Community Kitchen is an extremely important resource for our community, it is currently unfunded and relies on the generosity of volunteers, donations and community support to continue operating.

You can help keep the kitchen open. A donation of any size will assist with the purchase of food, kitchen supplies and other essential costs, ensuring we can continue to provide meals and a welcoming space for those who need it most. If you value this service and would like to support your community, please consider making a donation today.

Together, we can ensure that everyone has a place at the table.
